Andrej qualified as a Slovak attorney in 2001. Between 1994 and 2009 he trained and practiced at law offices of Havlát & Partners in Bratislava. In 2010 he became an attorney at ARS IURIS Slovakia. Since 2011 he is a partner at Majerník&Miháliková. Andrej has experience in civil law, real estate, commercial contracts, labour law, energy law, administrative law. He represents clients before civil courts, in arbitrations and before the Constitutional Court of the Slovak Republic.

Katarína qualified as a Slovak attorney in 2002. She trained and practiced at Linklaters Bratislava and Linklaters London (capital markets and banking department) between 2000 and 2004. In Loos she has completed her Masters of Law degree at King’s College London. Katarína qualified as a solicitor of England and Wales in 2008. Between 2005 and 2011 she was a founder and managing partner of ARS IURIS Slovakia. Since 2011 she is a partner at Majerník&Miháliková. Katarína has experience in venture capital, project finance, IP sights, M&A, insurance, real estate work, corporate law, capital markets and energy. She has advised on various innovative transactions in Slovakia including privatizations, project finance and bond issues. She is a keen supporter of the start-up scene in Slovakia.

Before joining Majerník & Miháliková in 2014, Ivan has gained experience working in well-known Czech-Slovak law firm, in a boutique law firm specializing on M&A and energy law, as well as in a consulting firm, working on projects in Bosnia Herzegovina, Turkey and Kyrgyzstan. Ivan has decided to accept an offer from Majerník & Miháliková because of its focus on tech companies and start-ups. He likes to take a lead in any deal, whether it is an equity transaction or IT project. Ivan has advised on various venture capital investments, advising either the founders or the investors.
